AIYANA:Medals in Sparring

What a LONG day! :) We left the house at about 8:15AM and headed into Chehalis to meet the TAEKWON-DO caravan. We arrived in Vernonia, OREGON just before noon - with barely enough time to iron Aiyana's uniform! Aiyana competed in Sparring and Forms - she needs one more promotion before she can compete in board breaking. We finally left at 8:00PM (after the award ceremony) and made the SCARIEST drive of our life! The road (ummm...trail) between Vernonia and Clatskanie is a little mountain pass. There was snow, fog and a curvy, small road. It was not fun. BUT, we made it home by 10:30PM and went STRAIGHT to bed!

Wayne and Nicole and Annabelle came over to play games! We played Sequence AND Jenga a few times! Brittany and Annabelle made up their own game, too. It was called, "Don't let Wayne build a tower to the ceiling!" (That one was the most fun!!)

Chandra's Room

Ahhh....a peaceful get away. A new bed, new mattresses, new bedding, new accessories, and new sleep! I LOVE IT!! The colors are called slate and chocolate.

THE HOUSE: Living Room

Finally! This room feels AWESOME - what a nice place to relax! Check it out! The curtains will be the same color as the couch - I'll post the pictures once I get them hung up! (2/18/07 The last two photo show how NICE the curtains look AND the goblets I found to match the VASES!! - Oh I'm in HEAVEN!)

Brittany's New Room

After painting and installing nice new carpet, Brittany's new bed was put together! We went to Linen's and Things and she picked out her bedding - I don't know HOW she'll sleep with all of those bright colors, but she's sure she'll manage! We just have to hang her pictures and it will be ALL done! As you can see, Scratch likes it!
